Hello everyone, wow I cant believe 2009 is here. We have had a busy last three weeks. My parents and Bobby came the week of Christmas we had so much fun. It was great to just relax and hang out with the family. New Years eve one of my best friends Lindsay and here boyfriend Peter came to stay with us for a few days. We had so much fun bring in the New Year together. Lindsay and Peter left Friday and Jim and I left that evening for Nashville to See the Szalay's, Jay, Deedee and Gisele. It was a quick trip but super fun. I wish we could have stayed a few more days. Here are a few pictures below. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Hello! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I can't believe that November has come to an end and Christmas will be here so soon. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. With Jim having to work the Day after Thanksgiving we decided to stay here in Alpharetta but Jay, Deedee and Gisele joined us. It was a super fun weekend, it was a great time of relaxation and being with family. Here are just a few pictures.

Black Friday here we come. Deedee and I took Gisele to Mall of Ga for the biggest day of shopping. We had so much fun and found some really good deals. Thursday night we went to Lenox Mall for the Lighting of Macy's Tree Lighting. It was a wonderful evening and I loved the fireworks!

Two year anniversary trip to Florida

This past weekend Jim and I went home to Celebrate our 2nd Anniversary. Friday we went to the beach for a relaxing afternoon. Friday night we re wore our wedding a tire, It was so much fun. We took pictures at sunset and then went to an incredible dinner at Bahama Breeze and then Desert at Cheese Cake Factory. Saturday morning we went walking on the beach, then to my parents to watch the FL/GA game. It was such a wonderful weekend. I am so thankful for the past two years, being married is absolutely amazing, and I am so very thankful every day God has blessed me with the most incredible husband ever!

Jim and I had so much fun at the Great Georgia Air show that we decided to go to another one the following weekend, Wings Over Marietta at Dobbins Air force base. It was a beautiful fall day, and a perfect day for flying.

Jim and I LOVE football season, we loving being able to watch our Gators play. Last weekend we went to Virgina Highlands to Taco Mac to watch the game. The weather was so nice and sat outside to watch the game. After the game we went to Ikea, and walked around Atlantic Station.

I can't believe it's almost the end of September, I'm sitting here trying to think where the last two months went. You can tell fall is just around the corner. The weather has been wonderful , and the leaves are starting to change colors. Jim and I are looking forward to enjoying the fall , hopefully we can find some time together to to do some of the fun activities around. Earlier this month we were able to go home for a fun filled weekend. My mom's birthday is in September, and one of my best friends little boys Carters. So we planed out trip to be able to celebrate both of them. We started the weekend off with having a surprise birthday party for my mom at the Kerns house. It was so fun, she had no idea. She was first surprised by all the people, then that my sister Britany cut about 12 inchs of her hair off that day, and then she finally saw us she didn't even know we were coming in town. It was a great night of fellowship. Thank you to everyone that help and to the Kern family for being such an amazing host. Friday Jim and I had a very relaxing day at clearwater beach. It was the first day we had off together in three and a half weeks, got to love the retail life. The weather was perfect it was so nice for it just to be the two of us, at our favorite place. That evening we had dinner with the Brian and Krissy Perkins, and Rob and Rachel Baer at LeeRoys. Saturday Jim got to spend the day with Brian Perkins, and I got to spend time with my sweet friends Sarah Miller and Lindsay Blount. Saturday evening we went to dinner with both of our parents. Sunday was such a fun day we went to church with the Baer family and then went to THE BEST kids birthday party EVER! Carters birthday was a pool party, we had so much swimming and going down the slide, we also got to have ice cream sundays from Cold Stone. We did not want to leave but the lovely eight hour drive home was ahead of us. Here are a few pictures of the weekend.

Last night Jim and I went down to Atlantic Station. It's is in downtown ATL, one of our favorite places to go. On the weekends they have a art festival with all sort of fun stuff to look at. We enjoyed walking around, eating dinner at the wonderful Cali Pizza Kitchen (best pizza ever), and sharing so me Italian ice. The weather was incredible. I hope everyone had a wonderful forth of July. Jim had to work from 8-5 so i spent the day doing some wash and laying by the pool, the weather was amazing. When Jim got off we packed a lunch got on the Marta and went downtown with every one else in Atlanta to watch the fireworks. There were so many people but it was so much fun. As the sun went behind the building a breeze came and we just enjoyed eating dinner and listening to the music they had playing. The fireworks started at 9:30 and went till 10. I felt like it was fireworks 360 they were shooting them off all around the park, I didn't know where to look. Jim had fun taking pictures. He took over 300 but I have just picked a couple for you to enjoy.

This week has been so fun . Monday my mom and sister came up here and it's been a week full of fun. I had to work in the midst of it, but Britany was able to spend two days with me at work, and I got to take one day off. Here are some picture of our fun week.

Well Memorial weekend my wedding rings were either missed place d or stolen at some friends lake house. It was so sad after looking for over a hour and we had to leave. So I had to just go and buy something to make it look like I was married and my hand felt so weird with no rings on it. Hopefully they will show up . Jim was so great and understanding. He is the most wonderful husband ever. Maybe one day I will break down and buy new ring, but right now I'm kinda scared to buy anything nice, that I might loose it.

Evening Walks

Jim and I love taking evening walks, the other night we walked to QT (the best gas station ever) and then went out to find the new amphitheater. We finally found it after a long walk and some crazy hills, and most of the way we didn't have a side walk. And of course I always have my flops on. :) We left at 6:45 and didn't get home that night till 9:30 .

Hello, well I hope everyone is enjoying the wamer weather and the beauty of spring. Living in florida for 25 years Jim and I are really exsperincing spring for the first time. The flowers, trees, and bushes are so beautiful. I'm still waiting to wear shorts, I wore a skirt to church this morning cause I was so tired of wearing pants, but by lunch I was so cold I had to go home and put pants on. Were getting there slowly. Wednesday night we are leaving for Brandon/Tampa Florida. We are so excited. It will be a crazy packed trip but I can't wait. The beach, lunch dates, dinner with friends and family, and a wedding to wrap up the week. I am soooo excited to walk on the beach, and spend much needed alone time with my amazing hubby. I will post some pictures when we get back. We love you all, and looking forward to seeing most of you THIS WEEK!!! God Bless you!

Ummm yea just kiding. After lunch Jim and I went and looked at a couple new neighborhoods about ten minutes away. The of the houses was open for you to walk through. Here are just a few of the many pictures Jim took. It had eight huge rooms in the basement with two baths, Master w/ private sitting area on main, two family rooms, dining room, HUGE kitchen, library. Six additional rooms upstairs, laundry room, a little desk sitting folding area, and four bathrooms. Two two car garage and courtyard. It was fun to walk around. The basement was bigger then our house plus basement.

Wow sorry it has been over a month . I can't believe it's almost the end of March. Jim and I have stayed busy with the everyday stuff. I am so happy that we have not needed the heavey sweathers and sweatshirts as much theses days. The weather has been amazing. Jim had off last weekend so Saturday night we walked to the Chick Fil A by our house for dinner. It's two miles both ways. Then on Sunday we packed a very late lunch and walked to a huge grassy field and had a picnic , it was so nice to just lay around and enjoy the weather. This weekend we had the wonderful pleasure of having Jay, DeeDee, and Gisele come visit us. We had so much fun and went non stop. Started with lunch at Chick Fil A on Friday to DeeDee and I going shopping at the outlet malls that afternoon dinner at our friends pizza place, then a full day of shopping at the mall of ga with dinner at Atlantic Station. We had so much fun.

Ok so Erin tagged me not really sure what I should do but I think I just answer the questions so here goes...

1. How do you take your coffee? Decaff with just a hint of French Vanilla or Hazelnut and one splenda. But my fav is Barnies Hazelnut coffee.

2. What is your restaurant genre of choice? America nothing fancy just good old america food.

3. If you had to eat the entire cake, what kind would it have to be? Umm well that would never happen cause I'm not a cake fan but it would be pound cake with Strawberries and Cool Whip, NOT Whip Cream two totally different it has to come from the tub.

4. What kind of cook do you consider yourself to be (i.e. gourmet)? Jim is the cook in our family, I would be happy with making protein shaking, soup, and cereal.

5. Eggs for breakfast? I love eggs, I like egg white omlets, with lots of cheese, onions, green peppers, red peppers, and did I say onions lots of onions. But I never have time to make one. On our cruise they had a station every day at breakfast it was amazing.

6. Are you an adventerous eater? Ummm not to much I will never order it, I wait for Jim to then just sample his.

7. Would you consider yourself a food snob? Umm I think maybe not sure what that really means, i'm going to go with it saying am I picky well I've gotten a whole lot better.

Hello everyone sorry it has been awhile. We have been very busy with work, and church. Jim and i LOVE our church, we joined a couples small group. We meet on Wednesday evenings there are five other amazing couples we meet with. I look forward to it so much durning the week. I have started working with the SR high youth group, I am going to be helping out this weekend with Walking Wisely Weekend. (what we know as Straight Up Weekend.) JIm and I had a wonderful Valentines Day. Jim had the day off and i got home around 5. I went running and then took a shower, when I came out of the shower Jim had all the candels lit, beautiful music playing, and made chicken fajitas. It was so wonderful to spend time together in the quiteness of our home in our PJ's. Friday morning we left for Tenn to go celebrate Giseles first birthday. It was so much fun to see family, relax, and well cudel on the floor and hold the little princes. Here are some pictures of the weekend.

IT'S SNOWING!!!

Well the news told us to exspect freezing weather tonight and maybe some ice but I don't think anyone thought it was going to snow this much. Well I got off work and I drove to the mall to see Jim . As I was driving I could tell it started to rain but it was like ice. By the time I parked and started walking into the mall there were some snow flurries . I spent some time in the apple store told Jim I was still going t o to try and run and told him I would se him when he got off work. Well I walked out of the mall and it was SNOWING hard. For me it was like blizzard snowing. (Ok well it was just snowing alot, for a florida girl has never seen snow fall I though t it was crazy.) So I nixed the running idea and just looked out my windows and watched the snow fall and call everyone. When Jim got home we got some pictures. I hope you enjoy them. I'm going to go and try to stay warm.

Our Trip to Stone Mountain

Today Jim and I went and hiked up Stone Mountain. I was a beautiful day. The weather was perfect . I took us about 45 minutes to get to the top. It's 1.3 miles and straight up . My legs were feeling the burn . At the top we just relaxed and enjoyed the view of down town Atlanta and had a picnic. It was a perfect day. We finished the night off with dinner at the Phipps mall, Jim was able to get Moes and yes I got my favorite Chick Fil A. We figured with all of our exercise we would treat our self to TCBY. Umm there ice cream well I should say yogurt is well the best in the country. :) I hope everyone had a wonderful day.

Well I am soooo very excited to say I am sitting in my home typing this blog update. We finally got internet set up today. So I will hopefully get better at updating more often. Well I think the month of December was one of the craziest months I have ever had, I don't think I could have pulled off one more thing. We started the month off with an amazing cruise to Nassau, and Coco Cay Bahamas, to celebrate our first year of marriage. It was just a two day, three nights but it was wonderful. I need the one on one time with Jim. We had been so busy with the move and getting use to our new jobs and not seeing each other as much, that it was nice to just be with him all day everyday. I LOVED IT! The weather was amazing. while we were in Nassau we just walked around and kinda toured the island. We went and looked at all the stuff in the straw market, I totally want to go back. The second day we were at Coco Cay a private island, we went on a nature hike, and then spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing in a hammock.

We got back December 3rd on a Monday and started a very busy work week. Nine days later I went home to Tampa for Britanys wedding. It was a crazy weekend, it was non stop the whole time. Plus Jim wasn't able to go. The wedding was absolutly beautiful and Britany made a stunning bride. I had a great time staying with her at her apartment and helping her get ready for everthing. Yes even staying up till 3:45 AM the night before the wedding, umm yea we got about 3 hours of sleep that night. Right after the wedding I changed clothes, said goodbye to everyone and Me, Robby and Mrs, Rosemarry jumped in the car for a nice eight hour car ride home. We didn't get in to Atlanta till 3:15am and by the time I got home it was four, poor Jim had to stay up and come get me. I was sooo happy to see him. I got to bed at 4:15 and set the alarm for 7 am for work. When I got up to go to work I don't think I have ever been so tired. I ended up working a twelve hour day. I was so ready to drop...but no time my parents and brother were coming in four days to send Christmas with us. We had to get the guest bedroom all ready and finish the last minute Christmas shopping and wrapping everything. It was so nice to have my family here for Christmas. Even Britany and Ryan stopped by for Christmas eve and Christmas Day on there way home from there honeymoon.

My parents went home the day after Christmas. Saturday night Jim and I took the marta (I guess you would say it is like a subway but nicer.) down town and went to the Hard Rock Cafe one of my favorite restrants. We had fun walking around down town and taking pictures.

New years eve I had two friends Tracy and Debra come see us. We enjoyed the day together. That night they went to go see a friend, and Jim and I took the marta again to Downtown Buckhead to the CheeseCake Factory for dinner it was so amazing. I love having gift cards. We meet up with Tracy and Debra and all went down town for an eventful New Years Eve. I have never seen so many people I can't imagine what Time square is like, but all that mattes is we had a great time with one another. They left the following morning and Jims parents came that afternoon and stayed the night with us on there way back to Brandon. It was so nice to see them and get to spend time together.

The Holidays

Well the weather is getting colder very day and all the Christmas decorations are up. I can't believe Thanksgiving was yesterday, this year went by so fast. Jim and I have had a good week. I have been off this week and poor Jim has been working like a crazy person. Wednesday he had off so we spent the whole day together it was so much fun. We put up our christmas tree, went down town to Centennial Park and took our picture for the Christmas cards, then we got a bit to eat at the Phipps mall and we have a ton of movie passes to AMC to we went to see a movie. Thursday (Thanksgiving) we went to B-ham to see Brian and Denise McLain and there beautiful three children. Jay, Deedee, and Gisele. We went to Denises side of the family. They were nice to let us come over. We had a great time and ate a ton of food. I was just content holding Gisele the whole time. She is so beautiful. Today we relaxed all morning and yes Jim had to work BLACK friday. I hate being at home by my self so I chilled out at the mall as well. I have to say it wasn't that bad. Oh course I didn't get there till 5...Well I'm acatually still here they have free internet and Jim doesn't get off for another 45 minutes. Which will be midnight. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. This week is a crazy one, well this whole month is going to be. We leave for our cruise a week from yesterday, then we come back and I fly out nine days later for my sisters wedding so we will be home for a quick weekend, Then a week later my family are coming for Christmas, Then the Szalays will be here. Well things are still going really good. Jim and I celebrated our 1 year last weekend. Jim had to work most the day but that evening we went down to Atlantic Station and walked around some. Then we went to Back Yard burgers for dinner, it was an old one set up kinda like how checkers are, we had to eat out side. It was soooo cold, but there food is totally worth it. I have interviewed with two different families and still just waiting. This past Monday Jim and I went to this little town about 1 hour north called Helen it was really cute we took some pictures, walked around and I packed a lunch and we ate it at the little park it was a beautiful day. On our way home we stopped off at the Georgia Mall to see it, that mall is so huge. We are getting very excited about our up coming cruise. We leave in 15 days. We are going to the Bahamas for two days. I hope everyone is doing good. Here are some of the pictures we took at Helen enjoy. Moving is so crazy

Well today is Tuesday Oct 30th and we have lived in this beautiful place for two weeks. Life has been pretty crazy. We have almost everything in its place. Some stuff still needs to be put up on the walls, but for the most part it is starting to feel like home.
Last week I started at American eagle, I was so happy to get 39 hours it was a long week but oh well, then I got my schedule for this week and i was scheduled 10 hours ummm hello what is that all about. So Sunday and today I have sent out e-mails to families in the Atlanta area looking for a nanny. Still waiting to here back. I love watching children any ways.
Many of you know that I spent the last year watching little Evelyn she had become a part of our life. I watched her all week and then Jim and I would watch her one night durning the weekend. I was able to speak to Margret the other day and get a good update. It's funny to go to the mall know and not have to unload the stoller, and the dipper bag. Simple earns are easy again. It use to be undo the car seat, run in to what ever get back in the car hook it all up again and then undo it all over again, but i miss it all so much.
Jim and I Joined First Baptist Alpharetta and have started the New Members class. We love our church. This past sunday we went to the fall festival. It was so fun to be at a fall festival and have to have jeans, and sweatshirts on. The weather has been amazing. Last night was the coldest night so far, it got to 42 and it is currently 57 out side and yes it is 1:15 in the afternoon. I am kinda getting use to it.
Tomorrow I get to see my best friend Rebecca she is coming to see her mom and we are going to the First Baptist Jonebro for there fall festival.
Jim got a job at the Apple store. He is so excited cause we all know that Jim LOVES everything MAC. He starts training this Friday and for the first 30 days he will be part time. After that they will reevaluate him.

What a weekend

Well Jim, Me, my parents, and bobby went ot Alpharetta this weekend. Man we did not know what was in store for us. Friday afternoon we went to walmart, we got 12 gallons of paint, and all kinds of stuff to clean with. For four hours my mom and I cleaned the baseboards in the dinning room and family room. My dad and Jim started painted, and We put Bobby to work vacuming. Friday evening my poor mom tackled the part of the kitchen, that was an adventure. We went and had a nice dinner at Jasons Deli and then to our friends house for a good nights rest. Saturday morning was an early start. We woke up to Mrs. Rosemarrys wonderful egg casarole and muffins cooking. After breakfast we headed back to the house. My mom and Mrs. Rosemarry went back to cleaning the kitchen, Jim and my dad finished painting the family room and I started on the dining room. We took Bobby to the local festival going on, he enjoyed taking all sorts of pictures. After lunch I started on a second coat for the dinning room, I stared to notice what I thougt was air bubbles, but it was the paint pealing off. We noticed that there use to be vinall wall paper, then several coat of paint. With my coat of paint it just couldn't take any more paint. So I hit pause on the project and well it's still in pause mode, we don't know what to do. But after a long hard weekend everything is clean, the family room, guest bedroom and computer room is painted. We are still looking for a frig, but my parents blessed us with a beautiful black glass stove top. They are so wonderful. (You don't even want to know what the old one looked like. Oh that was some fun times.) Well this week is a crazy one. With working and packing, we will be going home this weekend for a quick trip and then loading the truck monday. I am so excited about this post. After much prayer, and looking at all our options Jim and I have decided to move to Alpharetta GA. Alpharetta is always a place where Jim and I have wanted to move, settle down, and have a family. This is my last week with the little girl I nanny for, her parents are moving to St. Louis friday. Our apartment lease is also up at the end of the month. Jim looked in to finishing school, and he found out he can do it online. So we decided to look into moving. A long time friend of my moms has a beautiful house in downtown Alpharetta that she is going to let us rent. We are very thankful to this wonderful couple. The rent is much cheeper then our apartment and we will be able to start saving money for a house of our own. We went up two weeks ago to look at the house. It is in a beautiful area. There is an awesome church right down the st. First Baptist Alpharetta. We were driving around to see what was near by. A publix is right across the street and a starbucks :). As we were passing First Baptist Alpharetta I saw this beautiful two story brick house. It looked like it had been turned in to a business. As I looked closer it was the PASSION house (268 generation minisries.) I screamed with excitment. I have gone to several of there Passion confrences, they have been life changing exsperences. I hope to be able to help volunteer any time I can. We are going up this weekend with my parents to do some cleaning and painting. When we move in I'll post more pictures. We are still nailing down the jobs, i will keep you posted. God is so good.

Wow I can't believe it's already the first of September. The summer has come to a close and that means that, it's FOOTBALL season. I love Saturdays, college football all day, and sporting the two best colors. ORANGE and BLUE! This past saturday my best friend Rebecca was here. She joined Jim and I as we cheered on the Gators. We went down to the stadium patted the Gator for good luck and watched the game at The Swamp Restrant. It was a HOT afternoon, thank goodness we had a seat in the shade with two fans behind us. It was a great afternoon. It's GREAT to be a FLORIDA GATOR!

A fun full weekend

JIm and I left here friday and went home for the weekend for my cousins wedding. We got to tampa Friday afternoon and I got to go to see one of my best friends, and wonderful hair stylist it was so nice to get a good hair cut and yes I'm blond again. Friday night we went to my cousins rehersal dinner in Ybor, it was so much fun. I got to see alot of family and some really good friends. It was a big reunion. We ate really good food, desert and had fun dancing. Saturday we got to relax some and then had the wedding that night. It was a beautiful wedding. The song that the bridemaids walked down to was the same I used. It brought back good memories and made me want to do our wedding day all over again. :) I love weddings. It was a busy weekend but I loved every minute of it. I have posted some pictures enjoy.

Summer Vacation

Jim and I just got back from spending the forth of July in Birmingham. We got to Brian and Denise McClains Tuesday night. Wednesday We drove over to our friends the Stones lake house. We had so much fun. We watched fireworks, ate hamburgers and hot dogs, home made ice cream, rice crispy treats, and a WHOLE LOT more! Jim went tubing, I tubed with my best friend Rebecca something we use to do a long time ago, and I got a chance to water ski. I love it so much. It was a great time of much needed relaxation and fellowship. On Saturday we drove back to the McClains we ate lunch with Mr. and Mrs. McClain, Brian, Denise, Molly, Katie, and Mrs. McClains mom. That afternoon us and Brian and Denise went to the movies and got dinner. It was so nice to spend time with them. We got to spend the rest of the night with them and just hang out and have good conversation. Sunday morning Jim and I got up early and drove to Alpharetta, Georgia we went to the eleven o'clock service at North Point Community church. It was amazing! After church we went to the mall for lunch and walked around for a little bit. It was a long ride home, LOTS of traffic. It was an amazing week. Thank you to Brian and Denise for opening your home and letting us stay with you, and to the Stones for letting us hang with you guys at the lake house. I hope everyone had a wonderful forth of July.

Summer Camp

Summer camp was always a hi lite of my summers. Even when I was out of school and went as a counselor. Jim and I went to Bell Shoals Youth Camp Wednesday night. It was so great to see some of our friends and hang out with Victor and Esther. When I was in youth group I always loved my counselors, they have all had an impact on my life, I couldn't wait to be one myself. My first summer camp as a counselor was 2001. I had rising 8th grade. Loved them. I went to camp in 2004 and had the same group. When we went to camp the other night three of the students that were on my team were there as counselors for middle school, and one of the guys I had was leading the worship band for both middle school and high school. (They were incredible) Scott Odom (middle school pastor) and Victor Flores ( high school pastor) are amazing. Thank you for your hard work, your love for Christ, and your passion for students. It's totally amazing to me after going to camp since 1996 to see how many lives have been changed and how many students have come back and been involved over the years. Oh so many memories. Glenns insane games, the oh so popular trash masher, the huchkmucha relay, the talent show, the morning skits, our special guests for room inspections (Mission Impossible, Batman and Robin, The A Team, Star Wars, Then back on popular demand, Mission Impossible 2 and Star Wars, The Doorknobs, and Cops, The outstanding display of team spirit, the amazing and talented speakers and worship bands, and our small group time. Even at 25 I still love summer camp.

I love summer. Yes it was more exciting when you were in school and it ment three months of NO school. There was the family vacations, youth camp, staying up as late as you wanted, and no schedule the freedom to do what ever you wanted to. I still love the summer but it's a little different working full time. I love the radom beach trips, laying by the pool, ice cream is so refreshing after a hot summer day, and watermelon.
This summer Jim and I are going to Birmingham for a little vacation for the 4th of July. We will get to spend some time with the McLains and spend a couple days at the Stones lake house. I can't wait. One week! We will also get to stop off in Atlanta and visit North Point for church on Sunday.
In Augest we will be taking a couple days to go to the Bucs training camp in Orlandon at Disney Wild World of Sports. This is somthing Jim has always done with friends but I look forward to going with him and experiencing it together. Plus I get to eat dinner at Hard Rock Cafe! :) We have already taken a trip to Jacksonville Beach. It was a nice relaxing day at the beach and a good dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings. (A favorite of Jims but we dont have one in Gainesville.) I hope everyone is enjoying there summer.
